Bilingual health associate is available to serve as a liaison between the Spanish speaking community and our district preschool families.
The associate assists families experiencing barriers to receive needed services. The bilingual health associate assists parents in gaining access to preschool scholarships, health care, free lunch, counseling services, speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy and numerous other available services. The bilingual health associate translates and/or interprets all written and spoken communications for families, providing parents with an advocate and giving them a voice in their child’s education and care.
