Services: This program increases awareness and teaches the importance of a healthy life style.  Assisting parents of young children in Muscatine County learn how to make good choices to improve the nutritional quality of the meals they serve their families.  Provide training to parents through a series of 8 lessons including:

 

• Get Moving

• Plan/Shop/Save

• Vary Your Veggies….Focus on Fruit

• Make Half your Grains Whole

• Build Strong Bones

• Go Lean with Protein

• Make a Change

• Celebrate/Eat Smart and Be Active.
